Despite Notre Dame’s loss to Marshall, 4-star running back target Jeremiyah Love had great things to say about his time in South Bend over the weekend.

Love told IrishBreakdown’s Ryan Roberts that he felt like a “super star” at Notre Dame.

“The visit was excellent, I felt like a superstar at Notre Dame,” Love told Roberts. “The crowd was lit! For it only to be approximately 8.5 thousand students, all of them were at the game, along with the 78,000 fans. It was lit, super lit, even though we lost.”

Love has become a major target for the Irish in the class of 2023. He’s the No. 66 overall player in the country for this cycle, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Notre Dame is recruiting the running back position very well in this class. The Irish already have commitments from 4-stars Jayden Limar and Dylan Edwards.

Love attends Christian Brothers in St. Louis, Missouri. He’s listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds.

Notre Dame is still recruiting at an elite level in 2023. The Irish have the No. 4 class in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

According to Roberts’ report, Love will visit Texas A&M this weekend and then is expected to make a final decision later this month.
