Michael Mayer and Isaiah Foskey delivered memorable performances in Notre Dame’s 44-0 win over Boston College on Saturday.

Mayer has seemingly broken a new program record in nearly every game this season. But on Saturday, he crossed the 2,000-yard threshold for his career.

Mayer is the 13th Notre Dame player ever to have that many receiving yards.

Foskey also etched his name into the record books with a sack at the end of the first half. It was the 25th sack of his career, breaking Notre Dame’s all-time record.

Justin Tuck (24.5) previously held the record.

Foskey will be able to add to his new program record over the final couple games of the season. Mayer would need more than 200 yards over his last two games to crack the top 10 of Notre Dame’s all-time receiving yardage leaders.

This was an exceptional final home game for Notre Dame. It was the program’s second-largest victory over Boston College in series history.

Notre Dame will wrap up the 2022 regular season next weekend against USC on the road.
