Notre Dame has padded its already strong recruiting class with the addition of a 4-star linebacker out of Texas.

Loghan Thomas, who is a 6-foot-3 and 210-pound linebacker and ranked the No. 14 EDGE in the Class of 2024 out of Katy, Texas (Paetow), committed to the Fighting Irish. He’s considered the No. 34 player in the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Thomas chose Notre Dame over offers from Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. He had a reported 25 offers.

“Knowing I’m going to get a great education & meet great people while playing at a high level means a lot,” he told Hayes Fawcett.

Thomas was recruited by defensive line coach Al Washington and defensive coordinator Al Golden.

Thomas, who is the second EDGE player in the class, is the 3rd-highest rated recruit in a group that now counts 16 commits for the Class of 2024.
