Notre Dame adds 4-star WR to class of 2024
Notre Dame added to its No. 1-ranked 2024 recruiting class on Wednesday afternoon.
The Fighting Irish secured a commitment from 4-star receiver Cam Williams — one of the top pass-catchers in the nation.
Williams made his announcement live on CBS HQ:

Williams is the No. 19 receiver in the country for his class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Illinois.
Notre Dame is up to 5 commitments already in the class of 2024. All 5 commitments are ranked as 4-or-5-star prospects, per 247Sports Composite ratings. The class is led by 5-star quarterback CJ Carr.
This is a good start to the week for Notre Dame, who is hoping to make a big splash in the class of 2023 as the calendar flips from June to July.
Notre Dame is currently projected to land 4 4-star prospects in that class in the coming days. The Irish could potentially re-take the No. 1 spot from Ohio State in that cycle.
Williams also had offers from programs like Michigan, Michigan State and Virginia Tech, amongst others.
