Notre Dame earned a big win on the recruiting trail on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish picked up a commitment from 4-star offensive tackle prospect Styles Prescod. An Indiana native, Prescod becomes the first in-state commitment for the Irish in the class of 2024.

He had offers from programs such as Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri and Colorado, amongst others. He took an official visit to Notre Dame this past weekend.

Prescod is a major addition for Notre Dame. He’s the No. 283 overall player and the No. 26 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 4 player from the state of Indiana.

Prescod attends Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds.

He’s the second major commitment Notre Dame has received in as many days. The Irish also picked up a pledge from 4-star running back Kedren Young on Monday evening.

Notre Dame is up to 19 commitments in the class of 2024. The group ranks No. 3 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
