Notre Dame blocks 2 punts in first quarter vs. UNLV
Notre Dame’s special teams unit came to play against UNLV.
All-America candidate Isaiah Foskey blocked 2 punts in the first half against the Rebels on Saturday afternoon. Notre Dame converted both miscues into touchdowns.
Notre Dame is up to 4 blocked punts on the season.

In addition to the two blocks, Foskey was credited with 2 tackles and 1 tackle for loss in the first half. He’s been one of the top pass rushers in the country so far this season.
Notre Dame is looking for a bounce-back win this week. The Fighting Irish need a victory this week in order to stay on pace for bowl eligibility.
This is the first-ever meeting between Notre Dame and UNLV.
