Notre Dame EDGE commit Keon Keeley continues to rise up the national recruiting rankings.

Keeley is now ranked No. 6 overall for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He was ranked No. 9 in the country the previous update.

This change reflects the addition of On3 rankings into the 247Sports Composite formula. On3 ranks him as the No. 3 overall prospect in the country.

This continues a steady-but-consistent rise up the rankings for Keeley. He was ranked No. 104 in the Composite as of August of 2021 and has risen in every update since then.

Keeley has been committed to Notre Dame since June 28, 2021. He decided to stick with his commitment even after Brian Kelly left for LSU.

Listed at 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Keeley has the physicality and athleticism to be an immediate contributor for Notre Dame in 2023. He has the potential to be an impactful pass rusher from Day 1 in South Bend.

Another high-profile Notre Dame target also had his Composite ranking updated on Friday. 5-star quarterback Dante Moore is now the No. 11 overall player in the country. He was previously No. 5.

Keeley is the top-ranked player in Notre Dame’s class of 2023 so far. The Fighting Irish currently have the No. 1 overall class in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
