On3 updated its 2023 recruiting rankings on Monday morning, and Bowen got a major boost. He’s now On3’s No. 18 overall player in this class and a 5-star prospect.

Bowen is one of several key Notre Dame commitments from the state of Texas in this cycle. He’s from Denton, Texas, which is in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

He committed to Notre Dame back on Jan. 1 of this year. Bowen also has offers from programs like Texas A&M, Miami and Tennessee, amongst others.

It’s worth noting that other recruiting services haven’t been quite as aggressive with their ranking for Bowen. He’s the No. 53 player in the country for this class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings

Overall, Notre Dame has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Ohio State re-took the top spot on Monday morning, but the margins are small. Penn State, Clemson and Texas round out the top 5.
