Notre Dame commit Peyton Bowen scored an incredible punt return touchdown during his high school game on Thursday night.

With his team already up 35-0 over powerhouse Allen High School, Bowen fielded a punt near his own 40-yard line. He immediately made a defender miss before darting up field.

Bowen then broke several more tackles in the middle of the field before peeling away for the touchdown.

Here’s a look:

Bowen has made headlines in recent days as he has reportedly set up an unofficial visit to Oregon this weekend. The 5-star safety has been committed to Notre Dame since January.

Bowen attends Guyer High School in Denton, Texas. The win over Allen on Thursday night pushed Guyer to 8-0 on the season.

For now, Bowen remains the top-ranked prospect in Notre Dame’s 2023 recruiting class. He’s the No. 24 overall player and the No. 2 safety in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Bowen told On3 this week that he intends to make a final decision on his recruitment prior to Guyer’s state playoff run.
