He picked the Fighting Irish over offers from programs like Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and more. His older brother is currently an offensive lineman at Michigan.
Zinter’s commitment means Notre Dame now has 9 commitments in the class of 2023. The Fighting Irish currently have the No. 1 overall class in the country for that cycle, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
The class includes commitments from two 5-star prospects: 5-star EDGE Keon Keeley and 5-star linebacker Drayk Bowen. Seven of Notre Dame’s first nine commitments in this class are on the defensive side of the ball.
The Early Signing Period is in December.
