Notre Dame picked up a major commitment in the class of 2023 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Fighting Irish landed a pledge from 4-star shooting guard Parker Friedrichsen.
Here’s his announcement:
Friedrichsen is the No. 122 overall player and the No. 18 shooting guard in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 165 pounds. He attends Bixby High School in Bixby, Oklahoma. Bixby is a suburb of Tulsa.
Nebraska and Davidson were Friedrichsen’s other finalists. However, he also had offers from Oklahoma, Memphis, Iowa, Oklahoma State and Purdue, amongst others.
Friedrichsen profiles as an excellent shooter who can make an impact for the Fighting Irish either on or off the ball. Here’s a clip of his shooting form:
