Notre Dame secured a huge transfer commitment from Beaux Collins out of Clemson on Sunday.

Collins was the 2nd leading receiver at Clemson this year with 510 yards receiving, finishing behind Tyler Brown (519). Collins has plenty of experience, playing for the Tigers since 2021.

The Fighting Irish need some help at wideout after struggling this season. Notre Dame’s leading receiver Chris Tyree finished the regular season with 484 yards receiving.

Collins is Notre Dame’s second wide receiver transfer addition of the offseason. The Fighting Irish have also earned a commitment from ex-Florida International wide receiver Kris Mitchell.

Collins will get the chance to work with new receivers coach Mike Brown next year. Brown was announced as Chansi Stuckey’s replacement on Sunday. Brown held the same role at Wisconsin this past season.

Notre Dame will have Brown on staff for the Sun Bowl with Oregon State. The Fighting Irish and Beavers meet in El Paso, Texas on Dec. 29.

Kickoff will be at 2 p.m. ET on CBS.
