Notre Dame makes the cut for elite QB in class of 2025

Notre Dame is one of a handful of teams still in the mix for 2025 quarterback prospect Deuce Knight.

Knight released his top 10 on Friday afternoon. His list includes a number of top programs from across the country: Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, Ole Miss and TCU.

Here’s his announcement:

Knight attends George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds.

He’s one of the highest-rated quarterback prospects in the country for the 2025 cycle. He’s currently ranked as the No. 133 overall player and the No. 7 quarterback, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the 6 player from the state of Mississippi.

Knight initially received an offer from Notre Dame back in March. The Irish have been recruiting the quarterback position well in recent cycles. They landed 4-star Kenny Minchey in the class of 2023 and have 4-star CJ Carr committed in 2024.

Notre Dame has 1 player committed to so far in the class of 2025: 4-star defensive lineman Davion Dixon.

Here are some highlights from Knight’s sophomore season:
