After the win over Virginia, Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly made the case for the Fighting Irish to receiver more CFP consideration. “We’re ascending as a football team,” Kelly told reporters.
Notre Dame is now one win away from its fifth consecutive 10-win season. That would be the longest-such streak in program history.
Running back Kyren Williams has become the focal point of Notre Dame’s offense this season. He’s one of just four running backs in the country who has produced both 875 rushing yards and 300 rushing yards so far this season.
Notre Dame finishes the season with games vs. Georgia Tech and Stanford. Kick off vs. the Yellow Jackets is at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
