Notre Dame named finalist for 4-star point guard in class of 2024
Notre Dame remains in the mix to land 4-star point guard Daquan Davis.
Davis announced his top 4 programs — as well as his commitment date — on Wednesday morning. In addition to the Fighting Irish, he’s also still considering Mississippi State, Maryland and Providence.
Davis will announcement his commitment on June 25:

Davis has become a top target for Notre Dame in the class of 2024. He’s the No. 125 overall player and the No. 16 point guard in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
He attends St. John’s High School in Washington D.C. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds.
Although it was under a former coaching staff, Notre Dame has had success with recruiting guards in recent years. The Irish produced a one-and-done first round pick in Blake Wesley in 2021-22 and then recruited 5-star guard JJ Starling for the 2022-23 season.
Notre Dame has one commitment so far in the class of 2024: 3-star guard Cole Certa out of Illinois. He committed to Notre Dame earlier this month.
