Notre Dame OL commit Sam Pendleton shows off insane athleticism by jumping out of a pool

Notre Dame is getting an elite athlete in 4-star offensive lineman Sam Pendleton.

Over the weekend, Pendleton shared a video of him performing a pretty remarkable feat — jumping out of swimming pool.

It’s not clear how deep the water is, but regardless — that’s impressive. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 305 pounds.

Pendleton has been committed to Notre Dame since April 25. He’s the No. 18 interior offensive lineman in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s a North Carolina native and ranks No. 13 amongst players from his home state.

He’s a big part of an excellent Notre Dame recruiting class — especially on the offensive line. The Irish also have a commitment from 4-star Charles Jagusah, 4-star Sullivan Absher, 4-star Elijah Paige and 3-star Joe Otting.

Overall, Notre Dame has 20 commitments in the class of 2023. The group ranks No. 1 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings

Pendleton and other 2023 prospects will be able to officially sign with a program during the Early Signing Period in December.
