Notre Dame opens as a huge favorite in regular season finale vs. Stanford

Notre Dame is a 17-point favorite in its season finale vs. Stanford on Saturday, according to DraftKings.

The total has been set at 52.5 points.

Stanford has struggled this season. The Cardinal enter t

his game with a 3-8 overall record and are coming off of three straight blowout losses to Pac-12 opposition.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame has won six straight games and demolished Georgia Tech 55-0 in Week 12. The Fighting Irish are 10-1 on the season and are still playing for a potential berth in the College Football Playoff.

Notre Dame could be as high as No. 6 in the updated College Football P

layoff rankings that will be revealed on Tuesday. Two teams — Oregon and Michigan State — lost this week after being ranked ahead of Notre Dame at the last update.

The Fighting Irish have won back-to-back games vs. Stanford in this series. They also hold the all-time advantage, 20-13.

Notre Dame has covered the spread in eight of its last nine games.

Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
