Notre Dame opens as road favorite against Clemson in Week 10
Notre Dame is a slight betting favorite on the road vs. Clemson in Week 10.
The Fighting Irish are favored by 3.5 points, according to the initial line set by DraftKings. A total has not yet been set by the book.
Notre Dame is coming off of back-to-back blowout victories vs. USC and Pitt. The Fighting Irish defense produced a total of 10 takeaways in those two contests, including 4 interceptions from safety Xavier Watts across both games.
Clemson, on the other hand, has lost back-to-back games to Miami and NC State. The Tigers have fallen to 4-4 on the season and are 7-7 in their last 14 games dating back to last season. That stretch of poor form started with Notre Dame’s blowout win over the Tigers in South Bend last season.
Still, it’s rare to see Clemson as an underdog to anyone in Death Valley. It happened earlier this season when Clemson hosted Florida State. Before that, the Tigers hadn’t been a home underdog since the 2016 season.
Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
