Notre Dame blasted Clemson 76-61 on Saturday afternoon to keep pace in the ACC standings.

The combination of Blake Wesley and Dane Goodwin was simply too much for the Tigers. Wesley scored 21 points on 12 attempts and Goodwin poured in 20 points on 13 tries.

Both players also grabbed 6 rebounds each. Here’s some highlights from Goodwin’s day:

As a team, Notre Dame shot 52.4 percent from 3-point range in this game. Wesley knocked down 5 triples while Goodwin and Cormac Ryan hit 3 each.

Nate Laszewski was a game-time decision, but he was able to play in this game. He played for 16 minutes but did not score as he battled through a knee injury. It’s unclear if this is expected to be a lingering issue.

Notre Dame remains tied with Duke at 11-3 atop the ACC standings. The Blue Devils defeated Boston College on Saturday to keep pace with Notre Dame.

The Irish are also still fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth. However, they had moved off of Joe Lunardi’s bubble — in a positive direction — prior to Saturday’s slate of games.

Notre Dame faces Boston College at home on Wednesday.
