4-star running back Dylan Edwards announced his decommitment from Kansas State on Friday evening.
Edwards has become Notre Dame’s top target at the running back position in this cycle. He received an offer from the Fighting Irish earlier this week and quickly made the trip to South Bend to visit campus.

Edwards is a Kansas native, so it would be an impressive recruiting effort by Notre Dame’s coaching staff if it ultimately lands his signature.
Edwards is the No. 19 running back in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Kansas.
Known for his speed, Edwards won the Fastest Man challenge at a Rivals Future 50 event earlier this summer.
