Notre Dame is set to host 3-star offensive lineman Chris Terek in South Bend for the Stanford game this weekend.

Terek told Irish Sports Daily that the Fighting Irish recently began recruiting him again after losing a commitment from Elijah Paige. Terek is currently committed to Wisconsin.

Despite that commitment to the Badgers, he will be in attendance at Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday night.

“It’s a crazy opportunity,” Terek told Irish Sports Daily. “I’ve never had a chance to really get down to Notre Dame and see it for myself. I just want to go check it out, talk with the coaches, see what they have to offer.”

Terek is the No. 510 overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 38 interior offensive lineman and the No. 7 player from Illinois.

However, those rankings could see a substantial increase before the end of this cycle. Terek has been offered by programs like Michigan, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota and Missouri, amongst others.

Terek has been committed to Wisconsin since June. Since then, the Badgers fired head coach Paul Chryst.
