Notre Dame welcomed 2025 recruits to campus for Junior Day on Saturday in the best way possible.

Recruiting director Chad Bowden, recruiting analyst Dre Brown, recruiting associate Carter Auman, and the recruiting team dressed up as leprechauns to welcome and then show around recruits and commits in South Bend. Notre Dame beat writer Jack Soble captured the scene:

Soble followed up later and said the Irish targets on campus loved the creativity.

Every chance to make an impression matters in recruiting. Every chance to show prospects genuine care is valuable. While opposing fans might snicker at such a move, recruits will no doubt remember the moment.

And its hard to argue with the results in Marcus Freeman’s program in recent years.

The transitional 2022 class was a top-10 group. The 2023 cycle was a top-15 class. The 2024 class is, to this point, another top-10 group. And the 2025 class is already boisterous, with 14 known commitments to give the Irish the top-ranked class in the country at this point.
