Notre Dame to produce season-long documentary in 2024

Notre Dame athletic director (AD) Jack Swarbrick told reporters Wednesday night that the Irish plan to produce a season-long documentary “over the coming years.” The documentary is set to debut next season.
The documentary was specifically noted to be Notre Dame’s version of Hard Knocks, which is a popular documentary-style program produced by NFL Films and HBO on different NFL teams throughout training camp, preseason and the regular season. The addition to cover a team during the regular season was debuted in 2021.
Notre Dame recently entered a deal with NBC that extends their media rights until 2029. According to Swarbrick, Notre Dame will also have its own channel on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.
