Notre Dame trending up for highly-recruited prospect from Virginia
Notre Dame seems to be in good position to land 3-star athlete Brandyn Hillman to its 2023 recruiting class.
Earlier this week, the Fighting Irish received multiple 247Sports Crystal Ball projections to land Hillman in this cycle. Director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong and Irish Illustrated’s Tomy Loy both filed Notre Dame predictions.
That would be a big development for Notre Dame’s 2023 class. Hillman was offered in late September as programs from around the country are tracking his progress as a senior.
In addition to Notre Dame, he’s received offers from programs like Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee in recent weeks.
He plays quarterback and defensive back for his high school team in Portsmouth, Virginia. He told IrishSportsDaily last month that Notre Dame is recruiting him as an “athlete” and has not settled on a single position.
Hillman is listed at 6-foot-1, 191 pounds. He’s the No. 414 overall prospect in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Here are some highlights from the first 4 games of his senior season:
