Notre Dame plans to host Duke transfer quarterback Riley Leonard on a recruiting visit this weekend, according to a report.

That’s per ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who says the visit will take place between Dec. 6 and 7.

Leonard was previously linked to Notre Dame after he entered the transfer portal last week. He reportedly joined the portal with a “no contact” tag, meaning he did not want other programs to reach out to him directly.

Notre Dame will also reportedly host Clemson transfer receiver Beaux Collins on a visit during those same dates later this week. Collins is one of the top available receivers in the portal.

The Fighting Irish could also have other high-priority transfer portal targets planning to visit in the coming days.

On Monday night, Notre Dame landed its first commitment of the transfer portal cycle by picking up former Arizona State defensive back Jordan Clark. The Fighting Irish are expecting to be aggressive in the portal this offseason as it looks to build a strong roster for 2024.
