Notre Dame 5-star EDGE commit Keon Keely will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend to visit Alabama, according to multiple reports.
On3’s Mike Singer was first to report the visit. Keeley has been committed to Notre Dame for over a year. He announced his commitment in June of 2021.
This visit isn’t necessarily bad news for Notre Dame — it could be that the Tampa, Fla., native is simply looking at other options ahead of his senior season.
But if Keeley does flip to Alabama at some point, it would be a tremendous loss for the Fighting Irish. Keeley is currently ranked as the No. 8 overall player in the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings

Keeley is a huge part of Notre Dame’s 2023 class, which has a chance to finish at No. 1 nationally. The group currently ranks No. 2 in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
For now, Keeley is still committed to Notre Dame. The Early Signing Period for the class of 2023 is in December.
