Notre Dame ended up beating Navy by a score of 42-3. The game was not much of a contest compared to how last season’s meeting went. The Midshipmen were down 35-13 at halftime. The Fighting Irish won 35-32, but were held scoreless as in the second half by Navy.
Hartman may put up some MVP-level numbers in Notre Dame’s next game as well. The Fighting Irish head back to South Bend to face Tennessee State on Sept. 2.
The Fighting Irish should be favored heavily in the matchup, especially since it will be a home game. Hartman will be hungry for some more trophies this season with Notre Dame.
