Lubin was a 4-star prospect in the class of 2022. He was the No. 109 overall player and the No. 20 power forward in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He also ranked as the No. 14 prospect from the state of Florida.
He played a bench role for the Fighting Irish last season and likely would have seen an increase in minutes had he chosen to stick with Notre Dame for 2023-24. He played in 28 games, starting 7, and scored 6.2 points per contest.
Notre Dame is in the midst of a roster overhaul in Micah Shrewsberry’s first offseason in charge. The Irish are set to bring in at least 6 new players and already have a pair of transfers committed.
Notre Dame’s incoming class of players ranks No. 37 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
