Damar Hamlin continues to make his progress in his recovery after he collapsed on the field during Monday Night Football earlier this week.

On Saturday afternoon, Hamlin made his first public comments since he was hospitalized.

He shared this message in an uplifting Instagram post:

“When you put real love out into the world it comes back to you 3x’s as much,” Hamlin wrote. “The Love has been overwhelming, but I’m thankful for every single person that prayed for me and reached out. We brung the world back together behind this. If you know me you know this only gone make me stronger. On a long road keep praying for me!”

Hamlin is still hospitalized and remains in critical condition, but his medical team says he has made tremendous progress in recent days.

The Pittsburgh native is in his second season in the NFL. He was a 6th round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but has developed into a key player for the Bills. He made 14 starts this season.
