Pitt lands 2024 commitment from local lineman

Pitt has picked up a new pledge for its 2024 recruiting class. A local lineman committed to the Panthers on Thursday.

Ty Yuhas, a defensive lineman out of Central Catholic in Pittsburgh, announced his commitment to the program via his Twitter account.

Yuhas lists his height and weight as 6-3, 260. He has not been rated by the major recruiting services.

Karl Ludwig of Pittsburgh Sports Now notes that Yuhas just got his scholarship offer from Pat Narduzzi’s staff this past weekend and did not wait long to pull the trigger on committing.

Yuhas has also tweeted about an offer from Kent State and visits to Penn State and Eastern Michigan.

With Yuhas on board, Pitt now has 4 commitments for 2024. Yuhas’ highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
