College football returns in earnest this weekend with the renewal of the Backyard Brawl rivalry on Thursday night.

Pittsburgh quarterback Kedon Slovis took the opportunity to hype up Panthers fans while speaking at a pep rally on Tuesday.

Slovis stepped up on stage and delivered a potentially classic line: “I’ve got one more thing to say … F*** West Virginia!”

Here’s a clip:

This will be Pitt’s first meeting with West Virginia since 2011. The programs used to play their rivalry game on an annual basis, but this will be their first matchup since both programs left the Big East.

Slovis will making his Pitt debut on Thursday night. He transferred from USC after spending the last 3 seasons with the Trojans. Ironically, West Virginia quarterback JT Daniels is also making his first start with the Mountaineers after spending some time at USC. Slovis and Daniels were teammates in 2019.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
