Pitt WR, Biletnikoff Award winner Jordan Addison expected to enter transfer portal
Pitt receiver Jordan Addison is expected to enter the transfer portal before the May 1 deadline, according to multiple reports.
Pittsburgh insider Andrew Fillipponi was first to report the news, which has since been confirmed by The Athletic, ESPN and other outlets.
News out of Oakland tonight: Jordan Addison plans on leaving the Pitt football program. Intends to transfer. Wow.

This is a stunning development, as Addison became one of the nation’s top receivers after just 2 seasons in Pittsburgh. Last season, he was Kenny Pickett’s top threat and caught 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Those numbers allowed Addison to cruise to the Biletnikoff Award. With Pickett gone, the Panthers brought in USC quarterback transfer Kedon Slovis.
As for a destination, there’s already been rampant speculation that USC will be Addison’s next program.
The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman named USC as a “possible destination.”
SOURCE: Quite a situation brewing involving Biletnikoff Award winner Jordan Addison looking into transferring from Pitt with USC as a possible destination. He had 100 catches for 1593 yards and 17 TDs last year.

Per ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Addison’s connection to the DMV area — also the original home of new USC quarterback Caleb Williams — could play a factor.
Jordan Addision is from Fredrick, Maryland. Caleb Williams is also from the DC area. There's ties from that DMV relationship that could help Addision end up at USC. https://t.co/H8DsHibPSW

Of course, there’s also likely to be a large NIL deal on the table — wherever Addison ends up. Here’s some of that speculation from various college football media outlets:
Jordan Addison is most likely going to USC to take the $$$ that USC and Lincoln are bringing to the table. This is AWFUL for CFB. I'm all for NIL but there has to be some protection/regulation/opportunity for Pitt to match the offer and keep the player they developed.

Hearing rumors that Biletnikoff winner Jordan Addison is transferring from Pitt to USC on a massive NIL deal. This is getting wild.

Jordan Addison is going to be quite a test case for what an athlete could command via NIL as a transfer.
Not in the portal yet, but there will be many, many schools making a call if he does enter. https://t.co/GCtUVgQZrv
