Pittsburgh lands commitment from 2024 in-state OL

Pittsburgh added to its 2024 recruiting class on Saturday with an in-state commitment.

Jiavani Cooley, a lineman from Erie, took to Twitter on Saturday to announce his pledge to play for Pat Narduzzi’s program.

Out of Cathedral Prep, Cooley is listed at 6-5, 265 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Cooley is rated 3-stars, the No. 24 Pennsylvania product, No. 56 offensive tackle and No. 703 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.

In the fall and winter of 2022, Cooley tweeted of picking up scholarship offers from Boston College, Syracuse and Vanderbilt. With Cooley on board, Pitt now has 7 commitments in its 2024 recruiting class.
