Mike Williams, who played at Syracuse and had a 6-year career in the NFL, has passed away after a tough battle with injuries stemming from an electrical accident on a construction site.

Williams was removed from life support on Sept 9 and began breathing on his own, though his condition began to later deteriorate before his passing.

Terrible news:

Williams spent a total of 6 years in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. He totaled over 3,000 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns across his career. He played at Syracuse from 2006 to 2009.

May he Rest in Peace.
