Syracuse basketball commit Chris Bunch had a nice moment with a program legend on Wednesday.

The 4-star prospect was in Oklahoma City for the Thunder’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. He was able to get a photo with former Syracuse star Carmelo Anthony.

Here’s the photo:

Anthony is in his 19th NBA season and his first with the Lakers. He was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft shortly after winning the 2003 National Championship with the Orange.

Bunch committed to Syracuse back on Oct. 21. He chose the Orange over offers from Washington, Florida State, Creighton and several other top programs.

He’s ranked as the No. 72 overall player and the No. 19 small forward in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Bunch attend Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah. He’s listed at 6-foot-7, 185 pounds.

Bunch is one of five players currently committed to Syracuse. The Orange’s 2022 class ranks No. 10 nationally and No. 4 in the ACC, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Unfortunately for Anthony and the Lakers, they fell to the Thunder on Wednesday night by the score of 123-115. Anthony scored 13 points and grabbed 3 rebounds.
