Syracuse has been busy adding assistants to coach Dino Babers’ staff in recent days, and that continued on Monday.

This time, the Orange managed to poach a key assistant from a Big Ten school and fellow northeastern university in Rutgers.

Per Pete Thamel of ESPN, Syracuse is expected to hire former Rutgers assistant Nunzio Campanile as the Orange’s new TE coach:

Campanile has been at Rutgers since 2018. He served as the Scarlet Knights’ interim coach for part of 2019 and was the team’s interim OC starting in mid-October of this past season.

Now he brings his wealth of experience and knowledge of the New Jersey recruiting scene with him to Syracuse under Dino Babers.
