Anthony Johnson, Virginia DB, snags pick-6 during Senior Bowl

Anthony Johnson went out in style in his last game sporting a Virginia helmet.

In the 4th quarter of Saturday’s Senior Bowl game in Mobile, Alabama, Johnson snagged a pick-6 for the American team off of Louisville QB Malik Cunningham. It would be the squad’s only touchdown of the game in a 27-10 victory for the National team.

It was a strong ending to a productive week in Mobile for Johnson. USA TODAY’s Touchdown Wire

recognized Johnson as one of the top practice performers on Day 3 leading up to the game.

After graduating from Louisville, Johnson finished his career at Virginia with 2 seasons playing for the Cavaliers. He was voted a team captain for 2022 and earned first-team All-ACC recognition.
