Kihei Clark becomes Virginia’s all-time assist leader vs. Notre Dame

Kihei Clark is on top.

Virginia’s star point guard just became the all-time assists leader at Virginia, surpassing John Crotty with 684 and counting.

Clark h

as been in Charlottesville for some time now. This is his fifth season with the Cavaliers, but he can do much more than just dish it out. Clark is also one of Virginia’s best scorers, averaging 11.7 points per game and shooting just under 44% from the field. His 5.9 assists per game ranks No. 9 across the entire country.

And it’s part of the reason the Cavaliers are where they are at right now. A usually defensive minded Virginia squad has caught fire offensively in ACC play to compliment a defense that is top 30 in KenPom.

Virginia is projected to be a No. 3 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee.
