Mike Hollins, UVA shooting survivor, turns in huge 3-score game in win over North Carolina

Mike Hollins turned in an absolutely massive performance during Virginia’s win over North Carolina Saturday evening.

The Cavaliers downed the Tar Heels behind a 68-yard, 3-touchdown performance.

Anyone who knows Hollins’ story knows how incredible that statline is, with or without his circumstance. Hollins is a gunshot survivor from the shooting last year that took the lives of 3 Virginia players.

But he worked his way back to the gridiron and turned in the performance of his life against the Tar Heels Saturday at Chapel Hill.

Hollins scored the first 3 touchdowns of the day for the Cavs in Tony Elliot’s biggest win as a head coach yet.
