Nick Jackson, former Virginia LB, shares appreciation for fans, teammates after entering transfer portal

Nick Jackson entered the transfer portal on Dec. 12 after 4 years in Charlottesville.

With 1 remaining season of eligibility remaining, Jackson wrote a message to Virginia fans and teammates Sunday afternoon thanking them for the past 4 years with the program. While it was a longshot to begin with, he also essentially confirmed he would not be withdrawing his name and returning for the Cavaliers next season.

est defenders, totaling 352 tackles across his career. In 2022, Jackson totaled 104 tackles, 41 more than Jonas Sanker in 2nd place.

While nothing is final, Jackson did recently take an official visit to Iowa this weekend ahead of his post Sunday. A commitment to his next school is expected soon.
