Tayvonn Kyle, Iowa State CB transfer, announces ACC destination

Tayvonn Kyle, a former Iowa State cornerback, has reportedly landed on a new school.

Kyle chose Virginia over Eastern Carolina and Purdue, Wahoos247 reported.

“Their m

essage was just me coming in and bringing in that leadership, and coming in and playing and being the guy on the defensive end of the ball, and also coming in and getting into the mix in special teams – so just being able to come in and maximize my potential for this last year t

hat I got before I pursue NFL,” he said.

In his Iowa State career, Kyle made 76 tackles with an interception and a half-sack. In 2022, he collected 16 tackles over 6 games with four passes broken up. The 5-foot-11, 189-pound corner is from Valdosta, Georgia Lowndes High School and was a former 3-star on 247Sports.
