Tony Muskett receives status update for Week 2 against James Madison

Tony Muskett exited in the 2nd half of Virginia’s 49-13 loss against Tennessee with a shoulder injury.

The Monmouth transfer was getting hounded all game by Tennessee’s strong front 7. On Tuesday, Virginia head coach Tony Elliott revealed that Muskett is currently “day-to-day” and will be a game-time decision.

Freshman Anthony Colandrea

will start if Muskett cannot against the Dukes:

Muskett did not have a good outing against the Vols before injury took him out of the game, but his offensive line was not giving him much help. Truth b

e told, the Cavs struggled to get much of anything going. Muskett threw for just 94 yards and 40 rushing attempts yielded just 94 yards on the ground.

James Madison received 1 vote in the latest AP Poll and definitely should not be taken lightly, especially if Muskett is unable to throw Saturday. The game is set for Saturday at Noon on ESPNU.
