Virginia lands commitment from safety in class of 2023

Virginia picked up a commitment in the class of 2023 on Sunday afternoon.

The Cavaliers added 3-star safety Devin Clark to their current recruiting class. Clark is a native of Marietta, Georgia.

Here’s his announcement:

Clark is a late addition to Virginia’s 2023 recruiting class. He picked up an offer from the Cavaliers earlier this month. He decommitted from North Dakota State back in December.

He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. He attends Marietta High School.

Clark is the No. 63 safety in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports rankings. He’s also the No. 70 player from the state of Georgia.

Virginia is up to 20 commitments for the class of 2023. Overall, the group ranks No. 64 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
