It took Amoore just over 4.5 games to break the record. She hit 5 against Chattanooga, 7 against South Dakota State, 4 against Tennessee and 4 against Ohio State.
Amoore has become one of the top sharpshooters in the country. She made 34.9% of her 3-point attempts this season while taking a staggering 9.3 tries per contest.
Her floor spacing is a big reason why Virginia Tech has found itself in the Final Four for the 1st time in program history. The Hokies earned a No. 1 seed this season and have won all 4 of their NCAA Tournament games so far by at least 9 points.
