Tremaine Edmunds, former Virginia Tech LB, bullies his way for Pick 6 vs. Cleveland

Tremaine Edmunds was a man on a mission Sunday afternoon against the Cleveland Browns.

The former Virginia Tech linebacker had an excellent day as a leader of the Chicago Bears’ defense, but his best play of perhaps the season came at the start of the 3rd quarter.

Edmunds was in the right place at the right time for an interception of QB Joe Flacco following a big hit on a Cleveland receiver. Edmund used blockers well and found a path to the end zone to give Chicago a 7-point lead at the start of the 2nd half.

Check out the play below:

Edmunds landed in Chicago this past offseason after 5 seasons in Buffalo with the Bills. The 2-time pro bowler sits at 6 tackles with a pass deflections thus far against Cleveland.

For the season, Edmunds has been a fantastic addition for Chicago. He’s sitting at 83 tackles with 5 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, 6 pass deflections and a forced fumble.
