Virginia Tech has earned a surprise commit on National Signing Day in JUCO edge rusher James Jennette. The 4-star JUCO prospect held an official visit to Blacksburg this past weekend.
Jennette started his career at William & Mary, eventually moving to College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California.
Jennette is rated as the No. 1 JUCO edge commit in the country, also rated as the No. 8 overall JUCO prospect in the Class of 2024 according to 247Sports. The Durham native is also considered to be the No. 2 JUCO prospect from the state of North Carolina.
