Virginia Tech fan caught switching allegiances amidst big deficit to Florida State

Virginia Tech got off to a slow start on Saturday in Tallahassee.

The Hokies fell behind 22-0 against Florida State. During the game, a Virginia Tech fan was caught by the ABC broadcast appearing to switch allegiances to Florida State.

Florida State ended up carrying a 22-10 lead into halftime. The Seminoles are hoping to move to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the ACC with a win on Saturday.

uilding its big lead over the Hokies. He threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first half, giving him 57 in his FSU career. That means he’s now tied with FSU legend Danny Kanell for 4th on FSU’s all-time TD passes leaderboard.

Florida State is 23-13-1 all-time against Virginia Tech. However, FSU has not won a game in this series since the 2012 season.
