Virginia Tech listed in top 8 for in-state WR prospect

Class of 2024 wide receiver Mekhai White announced Wednesday that he has cut his offer list to 8, including Virginia Tech.

White, a high 3-star WR out of Virginia, stands at 6-3, 185 pounds and is set to enter his senior season at King George high school in King George, Virginia, which is on the other side of the state from VT.

Also included on White’s list are Michigan, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, Maryland, Penn State and Oklahoma.

Michigan and Arkansas are 2 teams to watch out for in White’s recruitment. He currently holds a pair of crystal balls to Ann Arbor.

White is considered to be the No. 530 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 49 ATH and No. 6 player out of the state of Virginia, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
