Virginia Tech OF records team's first in-season cycle since 2021
Virginia Tech outfielder Chris Cannizzaro became the first Hokie to hit for the cycle since 2021 Sunday afternoon, completing the rare baseball feat in VT’s 15-8 win over Bryant.
His final stats from the win were uber-impressive: 5-5 with 4 runs, 2 RBI and… a cycle. Not a day day at the office.

Virginia Tech is off to a solid start to the 2023 baseball season. The Hokies are 5-2, having won their weekend series against Charleston and now Bryant. The Hokies also scored a midweek win over ETSU.
Virginia Tech is back in action Tuesday against Bradley.
