Turner also made a 61-yard catch later in the first half.
His previous career-high for receiving yards in a game came vs. Virginia back on Nov. 29, 2019. He made 7 catches for 134 yards and 1 touchdown vs. the Cavaliers that day.
This marks the fourth 100-yard receiving day of Turner’s collegiate career, which stretches back to 2018.
The Hokies are trying to get back on track after losing to Syracuse last week. They entered this game with a 3-4 record and need a win today in order to stay on pace for bowl eligibility.
Va Tech is looking for its second consecutive win over the Yellow Jackets. The Hokies lead 20-7 at the half in Atlanta.
